Business & Marketing
Heading the entire product portfolio / franchise and owning the top line and bottom line for the franchise
Managing marketing spend allocations across platforms / levers aligned to consumer market share goals and expected results in terms of sales based on the quantified marketing activities.
Preparing and managing the franchise business plan from conception to execution - responsible for driving day to day operations to achieve the overall strategic goals.
Build and action consumer centric marketing programs to engage consumers. Execution in collaboration with sales teams. Tracking and measuring the impact of Marketing Programs
Engage advertising, sales promotion and research agencies as required
Conceptualise an integrated advertising plan with focus on digital marketing across channels including planning, execution and optimisation of campaigns across Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and blogs to drive conversions at the best-in-class ROI. Includes leading efforts on SEM, database marketing, direct-marketing via emailers and SMS campaigns, social media, and display advertising. Manage all SEO efforts to ensure constant improvement in consumer traffic and demand.
Identify market intelligence and consumer behaviour gaps to develop hypothesis and validate the same with structured market research (either with external agencies or research interns) to launch new brands extensions
Media strategy to define media task and outcomes, optimal media buying and auditing media execution for effective resource utilisation
Optimise marketing spends and ROI
Sales Promotion
In collaboration with sales team and based on Field Work / research insights identify new sales / retail campaigns to drive availability / stocking, visibility, point of sale activation, promotions to deliver consumer market share and hence revenue goals
Monitor merchandising and audit discounts
Partner with sales leadership for coaching / mentoring sales teams for effective execution
Co-own key account management in modern trade and ecommerce
FF engagement and motivation
Category Development
Tracking trends in consumer behaviour and emerging trends to develop new product concepts
Innovate packaging to drive adoption and increase consumption
Identify service value adds and differentiation
Evaluate differential pricing and packaging levers to increase adoption
Assess current and future growth levers with focus on geographical opportunities
Drive profitability enhancement
Analytics and Monitoring
Establish Metrics and drive measurements across action plan and optimisation of resources
Preparing & managing budgets, demand forecasting to manage inventories, controlling expenditure to deliver consumer market shares and brand marketing contributions.
Tracking and measuring revenues across channels and target consumer segments
Tracking market share, unit share, weighted & numeric distribution, consumer behaviour, new consumer acquisition, media outcomes, brand equity, revenue progress
Building and publishing brand health dashboard for senior management reviews
Team Building
Develop and coach direct and indirect reports to create an effective result-oriented ecosystem
Orient team to proactive opportunity mapping
Build and foster a strong inclusive team with internal and external stakeholders
