Roles & Responsibilities :
Contract Lifecycle Management - Drafting, vetting, negotiating, and closing commercial contracts like NDAs, MOUs, Service agreements, Licensing Agreements, Supply & Distribution Agreements, etc.
Developing and overseeing day-to-day legal functions & systems to ensure the company complies with all applicable legal and statutory requirements.
Monitoring changes in relevant legislation and taking appropriate actions to ensure the company is up to speed with the new policies/rules.
Dealing with Labour Laws, Property Laws, Civil & Criminal Laws, etc.
Managing the IPR Portfolio of the company & maintaining updated records of trademarks, copyrights, etc.
Maintaining legal documentation & records of all the commercial & non-commercial contracts of the company.
Providing support for litigation matters of the company.
Liaise with external legal counsel, clients, and other stakeholders as necessary.
Experience & Skills Required :
Bachelor's degree in Law or a related field. Master's degree or specialization in a specific legal area is a plus.
Strong knowledge of legal principles, practices, and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in legal document drafting and review.
Proficiency in using legal research tools, databases, and software.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Knowledge of Intellectual Property is mandatory.
Knowledge of drafting.
Vetting of Agreements.
