Regional Network Engineer ( AMETA) :

The Regional Network Engineer will have the responsibility to create and maintain the Network resources associated to the country-specific connectivity services and it connection to the global services (including cloud infrastructures and third parties) driving the implementation of new capabilities He/she will ensure that all teams work following Pluxee defined Networking standards with focusing on Security and Automation over the implementations. He/she will be in charge to implement Networking enablers with a Security and adequate continuous documentation perspective, aligned with the TOM best practices, tools and it associated workflows.

The Regional Network & SASE Engineer AMETA will work closely with the development teams in countries (insourced and outsourced) acting as technical reference for them and providing support to local Networking and Infra teams on networking topics, and on the countries where this role is not available accompanying the teams providing technical guidance over the specific configurations Standard already stablished in Pluxee Group by the Foundations and Platforms Competence Centre, Global Architecture team, Global Security Teams and Global Network Teams..

As part of the Foundations & Platforms team and with direct report to the Global Manager Networking & SASE, focus of the role will be:

Plan: Control, Configure and standardize the network implementations across the region ensuring that it follows the global standards and Quality required by the services,

Design: Collaborate on the design of the services and with strong focus on Cloud integrations, the role will participate too on the Standardization of Local Country services.

Deliver: Provide technical guidance and support in a consistent and reliable manner including the implementation and configuration of the Network infrastructure that underpin Country, Regional or Global Services

Use: Help providing guidance on maintaining and monitoring Services, as well as troubleshooting, ensuring reliability, high availability, and with the goal of zero system downtime, while strengthening security and governance practices that should be followed.

Monitoring: Ensuring the enablement of standard mechanisms to identify issues before they affect the customer experience and quickly mitigate them as they arise. Following as well the implementation of observability with actionable alerts, and full visibility of applications performance and the underlying Services

Your next challenge:

Knowledge / Experience:

10+ years’ experience in Networking.

4+ years managing teams.

3+ years of experience related to Networking administration MPLS/IPSec and SDWAN.

Hands on experience in Different.

Azure Cloud infrastructures, Active Directory and Azure Devops skills and hands on experience are key.

Valuable experience in SDWan.

Project Management experience will be valuable.

Experience managing multiskilled teams.

Very good IT knowledge adopting new technologies in existing environments.

Knowledgeable in ITIL methodology.

Infrastructure monitoring tools: Datadog, Dynatrace, NewRelic, Nagios.

You’re a match:

The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years experiences in Networking areas managing LAN WAN, SDWAN infrastructures with knowledge of networking integrations and it relationships with Cloud services on an international / multi-national environment, a background of Telecom Engineer will be valuable. Fluency in English is required, ability to speak in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.

Guidance and support in the migration activities of local infrastructure and solutions to cloud for all AMETA countries on the scope of Networking

Ensuring that Isonet (MPLS and IPsec) Services are Optimized ensuring Quality of Services on them and Failover.

Ensure the implementation across all EUROPE countries of the standard configurations & tools around networking administration and configuration.

Ensure that the Local Telco or Infra teams (internal or external) are engaged in the different regional infrastructure teams with the Platforms and Foundations Competence Center

Support in the implementation of the Target Operational Model in the region focused on Networks operations

Drive the adoption of standard processes and tools

Work closely with the infrastructure and external Providers to provide technical guidance.

Helping countries on technical enablement’s required on the Move to Azure roadmap.

Ensure that Knowledge management and standardization of the different Solution enablement’s follow the New TOM aligned with the ITIL Processes in service management / service delivery activities

Focus on knowledge management ensuring traceability and proper documentation of the Network assets and services in the CMDB.

Providing support to the Local and Regional Teams on operational Incidents.

Monitor and manage all KPI based performance, spotting trends, and ensuring the highest level of quality of service.

Ensuring that a secure Networking approach is developed on the region.

Experience Migrating company’s infrastructures from traditional MPLS/BGP/IPSec to SDWAN

Standardize all the network at global level (offices and Datacenters)

Assisting in regular review and optimization of the networks WAN and LAN projects to acquire/upgrade equipment and WAN links to meet business requirements.

Proactive management and maintenance of the networks.

Keeping up to date with relevant technologies such as Firewalls, Azure cloud and SDWAN.
