Overview:
As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our organization's overall social media strategy in order to enhance brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads/customers. You will be expected to stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices and use your expertise to optimize our social media presence across all relevant platforms.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Research and identify target audience preferences and trends to inform content strategy.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate social media into overall marketing efforts.
Content Creation:
Create engaging and relevant content for various social media platforms, including text, image, and video content.
Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent posting schedules.
Monitor and respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
Community Management:
Build and nurture relationships with followers and online communities.
Monitor social media channels for discussions related to our brand and industry.
Identify and engage with influencers and brand advocates to amplify our message.
Analytics and Reporting:
Track and analyze social media performance metrics, such as reach, engagement, and conversion rates.
Use insights to optimize content and strategy for better results.
Prepare regular reports on social media activities and outcomes.
Campaign Management:
Plan and execute social media campaigns, contests, and promotions.
Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.
Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop campaign assets.
Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
Demonstrable experience designing and implementing successful social media campaigns.
Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn,.
Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate campaign strategies, present social media analytics, and conduct client meetings and workshops.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
Additional Skills (Preferred):
Experience with paid social advertising campaigns.
Knowledge of SEO and content marketing principles.
Familiarity with industry-specific social media trends and best practices.
Certifications in social media marketing or related fields.
