Job Description:
As a Clothing Sourcing Manager/Merchandiser at Emerge Elegance, you will play a crucial role in sourcing materials and managing the merchandising process to ensure the success of our brand. You will work closely with suppliers, designers, and other team members to bring our vision to life.
Responsibilities:
Source high-quality materials and suppliers for our clothing lines, ensuring they meet our standards for excellence and sustainability.
Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.
Coordinate with designers to develop new product concepts and bring them to market.
Manage the merchandising process from concept to delivery, ensuring timely production and delivery of products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on product vision, timelines, and goals.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in a fashion-related field.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in clothing sourcing or merchandising.
Strong understanding of textiles, garment construction, and production processes.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with a strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Location:
This position is based in Ludhiana, Punjab. However, it offers a hybrid/work-from-home arrangement to provide flexibility.
