The Manager Finance is directly responsible for the financial integrity and strategic planning of the Weber division, impacting revenue, cost management, and investment decisions.The Manager Finance must effectively communicate controlling issues and procedures to line managers, fostering acceptance and adherence to financial controls.
Activities and End-Purposes :
1. Budgeting & Planning:
Participate in drafting the division's annual budget, proposing revisions as necessary.
Prepare long-term plans, analyze cost trends, and identify process improvements to control costs effectively.
Determine the financial impact of planned investments and ensure accurate budget management and reporting.
2. Analytics:
Conduct cost, price, and margin analysis to identify areas for improvement and drive decision-making.
Analyze production data to optimize margins and identify low-margin products for improvement.
Provide relevant analysis to management to support informed decision-making.
3. Internal Controls:
Establish and maintain adequate internal controls within business processes.
Review processes to identify areas for improvement from a controls perspective.
4. Manufacturing Controlling:
Oversee plant finance, accounting, material management, production process accounting, and inventory management.
5. Information and Advice:
Provide guidance and support to line managers on controlling tools.
Furnish economic data and studies to managers, auditors, and stakeholders.
Qualification:
Education (Preferred Degree): Professional Qualification- Chartered Accountant/ Cost & Management Accountant
