The primary focus of this role will be on developing enhancements, performing maintenance tasks, including debugging issues and data analysis, and providing exceptional support to ensure the smooth functioning and reliability of existing systems that leverage these technologies.
Responsibilities:
1. Enhancements Development:
- Design, develop, and implement innovative solutions using SQL, and Google Cloud technologies,Python to address user needs and improve system functionality.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements for new features and enhancements to existing systems.
2. Maintenance and Debugging:
- Utilize your strong Google Analytics skills to analyze and debug issues within the databases, data processing workflows, and applications.
- Regularly monitor and maintain existing systems built with SQL, Python, and Google Cloud technologies to ensure optimal performance and data integrity.
3. Support:
- Provide timely and effective support to end-users and stakeholders, addressing technical concerns, and assisting with system-related inquiries.
- Collaborate with the support team to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
4. SQL and Database Management:
- Create and optimize complex SQL queries to extract meaningful insights from data and identify potential data anomalies or discrepancies.
- Perform routine database maintenance tasks, such as backups and performance tuning, to ensure efficient database operations.
5. Google Appsheet Support and Development:
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance for existing Google Appsheet applications, resolving issues, and assisting users with their app-related queries.
- Develop enhancements and modifications to existing Appsheet applications based on user feedback and requirements.
6. Google Looker Studio and Google Sheets:
- Assist with the maintenance of data visualizations, dashboards, and reports in Google Looker Studio.
- Ensure data accuracy and reliability within Google Sheets and assist users with writing formulas for data analysis.
7. Python Script Maintenance:
- Review, update, and maintain Python scripts and applications used for automation, and integration.
- Ensure that the Python code remains up-to-date, efficient, and compatible with other systems and APIs.
8. System Documentation:
- Create and Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, customizations, enhancements, and any changes made to ensure clarity and facilitate future support and maintenance tasks.
Skills & Competencies Required:
- Proven hands-on experience with SQL development and databases, particularly Google BigQuery and PostgreSQL.
- Strong Google Analytics skills to debug and analyze issues through SQL queries.
- Previous experience supporting and maintaining applications built with Google Appsheet is a plus.
- Experience with Google Looker Studio and Google Sheets for support and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Python coding and scripting for automation, and development of new features.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide effective support to end-users and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Cheerful, flexible, fine with chaos and changing requirements from the field team.
- Good spoken and written english .
- Speaking & Understanding Tamil language will be very important as the field team does not speak english.
