What skills are we looking for?

Understanding of linear algebra, optimization, probability, and statistics
Experience in exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, model selection, and model evaluation
Should be able to conceive the design and the mechanism to define the efficacy of the model
Understanding of the inner workings of different types of Neural Networks
Expertise in NLP techniques including but not limited to tagging, entity recognition, information extraction among others
Experience in text analysis techniques like TF-IDF, text vectorization,
Understanding of Machine Learning frameworks like Tensorflow/Keras/Pytorch/NLTK
Responsibilities
Collaborating with the stakeholders and understanding data engineering needed to bring analytical prototypes to production
Data collection, data cleaning, and pre-processing
Finding and developing appropriate models to solve the problem
Hypothesis testing
Deploying, automating, maintaining, and managing cloud-based production systems for big data analytics
