Job Purpose - The role incumbent will be responsible to handle non-litigation legal and regulatory matters of the organisation, with a solutions-oriented approach and excellent decision-making skills
Key responsibilities
to review all the retail transactions pertaining to Business LAP for all the locations
pre disbursement checklists and contents including various compliance certificates
of loan and security documents for big ticket size cases
and vetting various legal documents and replies to notices
the legal risks involved in various deals/processes and share the same with the management
with the empanelled legal vendors for APF
legal records/MIS of all the cases including agreements, legal compliance, checklist, etc.
Essential skills
comparable experience in handling legal matters with a NBFC
hold knowledge of Financial Law and Property Law and regulations, i.e SARFAESI Act 2002, Transfer of Property Act, Contract Act, RBI Guideline and regulations, SEBI guidelines, NHB regulations
analytical with strong attention to detail
contributor with proven ability to prioritise and manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy
Must have excellent command over spoken and written English
Qualification & experience
Years of experience – 5+ years of relevant experience in non-litigation legal activities in an NBFC
